Remains of St Rocco chapel

Twisted stone St Rocco stairs lead from the locality where the remains of St. Nicholas church are to the hill Djed where the remains of the St. Rocco chapel are. The votive chapel against the plague was erected in 1734 next to the nearby cemetery.

This little wooden chapel had a painting of the settlement of Hrvatska Kostajnica in the 19th century on its lateral sides, but unfortunately it was completely destroyed in 1991 and today only the remains of the floor are left, from where you can enjoy a beautiful view of the city.

Way to the Chapel:

Twisted stone Roch’ stairs lead from the site where the remains of St. Nicholas church are to St. Roch chapel on the hill.

Spring Pekinac

At the foot of the Rochs’ stairs there is a spring of drinking water Pekinac where you can pour yourself water before climbing.
